The room had stains on the bed and pillowcases, there was mold and garbage in the bathroom, and food on the walls. I even found a broken painting. The whole place felt dirty and unsanitary. It smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the front desk was rude and unhelpful. Since I'm pregnant, we asked to change rooms, but they refused. I'm extremely upset. It wasn't worth the money.

I've stayed here more than ten times, but the rooms are very small, even though they're reasonably clean. The last three visits, they changed the price on me, and last night they tried to charge $300. The quoted price isn't what they end up charging, and it seems to be something different every time I come. The air conditioners all look broken, too. I think hotel management should be investigated because it feels like they're scamming people. My bedroom, kitchen, and living room at home are bigger than any room I've had here. I'm done paying to stay here.

The noise was so bad I couldn't sleep, and no housekeeper ever came in during my two night stay. I told the receptionist, who said someone would be sent, but nobody showed up. The bath and bed were never cleaned, the soap was already open and wet, there was no washcloth, and the only towel looked used. It seemed the room and bathroom hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest checked out. Luckily, I had my own supplies. I'd rather sleep in my car than return to this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it. This is just my experience, so it's your choice whether to stay.

It's a really nice, extremely clean place, and the staff are friendly. The bedrooms are much bigger than the ones I've seen in Manhattan. There aren't many places to eat nearby, but the area isn't noisy or rundown, and there's no debauchery. Compared with the sleazy places charging much more, it's well worth staying here. I'd recommend it.

The problems started as soon as I checked in. My comforter had cigarette burn holes, and the bathroom towels had hair on them. At the front desk, they told me people still smoke even though the hotel is new and non-smoking. That didn't fix the dirty towels or the burned bedding. I was on the second floor of a seven floor hotel, and they said changing rooms would be pointless because the smoke smell gets worse higher up. Smoke and cigarette odors filled the whole building, apparently spreading through the vents. A staff member took me to the basement for supposedly fresh towels, but each one had lots of hairs. He then escorted me to another floor, where I found unused towels in a closet. I made do with those for the night. On New Year's Eve, my boyfriend asked for housekeeping to clean our room while we went to lunch, since they hadn't come while we were getting ready. When we returned, the room was still dirty and our key didn't work. The front desk said they'd put in a request for 8 a.m. the next day. They told us the cleaning staff had gone home early for New Year's. We were checking out on New Year's Day, so cleaning then would have been no help. I thought the staff member should have found supplies and cleaned it himself. Then, at 3 a.m., two girls opened our door with a key, apparently thinking it was their room. Thankfully, our door was locked. They apologized and said they'd gotten the wrong room. My boyfriend had to get up for work at 4 a.m., and this ruined more of his sleep after we'd already arrived late because of the holiday. About fifteen minutes later, the front desk called to ask when we were checking out because their system said we had already checked out. They seemed to think we'd stayed an extra night without paying, even though our reservation should have been in their system. My boyfriend was furious at being woken twice for no reason, and by then I just wanted to leave. When he left for work, he saw a large group smoking outside and people drinking all over the lobby while the front desk staff stayed silent. It felt more like a motel or party house than a hotel. I asked for the manager when checking out, but was told they wouldn't be in until the following day. I explained that we'd been woken by the women and by the staff calling about checkout, and asked for a full or half refund. The staff member apologized and said many guests had complained that night. He said two men from across the street had rented a room and thrown a New Year's party with about twenty people, and that the police took two hours to arrive after they called. The police wouldn't have needed to come if the hotel had been in order. Horrible experience. This place isn't even worth $5.
