The breakfast setup was ridiculous. With two guests, there was just one voucher, and after the first person used it, the hotel took it back. That left the second guest unable to get breakfast, and staff wouldn't make an exception. The front desk was rude and couldn't handle simple requests either. The room was tiny, and hallway and neighboring-room noise came through clearly, especially when people opened or closed doors. I could never get a good night's sleep. A very, very bad experience.

The food is fantastic, and the hotel feels sleek and simple. It’s a cute, tucked-away boutique spot in a busy area that somehow isn’t super loud. The beds are comfortable, and the hospitality feels genuine. People here are SOO kind. I LOVE this hotel, and it’s my go-to from now on for comfort and location.

I stayed eight nights in an accessible room and had a pretty bad experience. The place was loud at night, and the room kept swinging between extremely hot and extremely cold. Moisture built up on the windows and got my books wet. The fire alarm was oddly placed right beside the shower, so it went off whenever I showered. At checkout they wouldn't refund the deposit I had paid to the time New York, saying it had gone toward facility fees. They also tried charging me for snacks I hadn't eaten, which I had to sort out with them over the phone. There are better hotels in New York that don't play so many games.

The rooms were clean and well kept, and the hotel made a perfect base for our mother-daughter NYC trip. We could easily walk to Broadway shows, Rockefeller for shopping, and Times Square. Lincoln Center was just two subway stops away. Such a good spot for days spent walking around.

After a first night at another hotel that wasn't as advertised, this was a welcome change. They let us check in before 10am, the customer service was amazing, and the room was really comfortable. It's right across from the theater we'll be attending this afternoon. We'll definitely return.
