Moxy NYC Times Square

The location is great, within walking distance of Times Square, and I had a really good stay. I loved spending time at the rooftop bar, and the hotel also has a nice bar and cool restaurant area. The room was small, but that’s NYC, and the rooftop has nice views. Parking in the garage next door costs an extra $60. There wasn’t any breakfast included, even though the app charged me more for it, so I’ll know better next time. All in all, it was a nice stay and I’d definitely return.

Cleanliness was the big thing for me, and this place really delivered. I’d read a lot of reviews and compared it with hotels like Sheraton down the street. The rooms here are smaller, but they’re laid out conveniently, which worked fine for me on my own. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was great. I’d recommend it for a solo trip or a couple visiting NYC. Maybe not with kids, though it doesn’t seem aimed at families anyway.

The room’s compact, but the layout is smart and it had what I needed. That’s part of the Moxy experience, and it worked well for me. I also liked the fun, energetic feel. It felt very NYC without trying too hard, and the location is right in the heart of the city. Check-in went smoothly, and the whole team was welcoming, helpful, and kind from the moment I arrived. I’d definitely stay at Moxy NYC Times Square again.

I had a great stay, and being on my own meant the room size was fine. I do wish I’d checked the rooms before booking. In the mornings there were little packaged grab-and-go foods, which was nice. The food and beverage credit worked at the cafe next door and covered a pastry and coffee for one. I’d rather see the destination fee lowered instead of getting that credit.
