The only thing I’d change is the temperature control. Our unit was extremely warm the whole time. I’d been unsure about booking because of noise reviews, but the traffic sounded typical for NYC, Boston, or any other big city I’ve stayed in. I’ve visited NYC 8-10 times, and this was no louder than other places there. We were five people in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit at One Dutch Hotel in NYC, and there was room for all of us to relax together. The bedrooms were roomy, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms clean and nicely equipped. The full kitchen had everything we needed, and the gym was well equipped. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It was a fantastic stay, and I’d absolutely come back.
We had a one-bedroom with a den, plus two bathrooms, and there was enough room for six or seven people to sit comfortably without feeling crowded. The room had everything we needed and was extremely clean. One Dutch is in a great location, and its lobby is private and clean as well. The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. I’d stay here any time I’m in New York.
The rooftop terrace and its lovely views were a highlight, and our two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was clean, spacious, and gave us room to spread out. At One Dutch Hotel, the staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. We were also close to the subway and could easily walk to lots of restaurants. There was some street noise, as you’d expect in New York. It didn’t bother us much, though light sleepers might want to ask for a quieter room. I’d recommend it to couples or small groups looking for a comfortable, well-located stay.
The rooftop became my favorite part of the stay. It has comfortable seating, soft lighting, and a relaxed but upscale feel, and I spent several evenings up there. The room was spotless and had a modern, cozy design, with plush bedding, good toiletries, and thoughtful little touches that made it feel more like home. From arrival, the staff made me feel welcome and checked me in quickly. Everyone I met was attentive, professional, and friendly. Hesh at the front desk was especially helpful, always ready with directions, recommendations, or a kind word. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
It’s so hard to find a NYC place where a whole group can stay together, and this was a great option. Our four adults shared a spotless three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment for four nights. The beds were very comfortable, and the sheets, towels, and furnishings all felt good quality. We also appreciated the in-unit laundry and all the closet space for our bags. One Dutch Hotel is on the same block as a major subway station, within walking distance of many attractions and very close to the lovely Seaport. We took the ferry to Brooklyn one day, which was quick and easy. I’ll recommend the hotel and will definitely stay again.
