Smyth Tribeca

At Smyth Tribeca, we had a lovely stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the hotel felt clean and modern. The staff were friendly and professional. We enjoyed a cocktail in the cozy hotel side lounge one evening, then muffins and coffee the next morning. We highly recommend it.

Qualeemah (Bella) made our stay feel personal by helping arrange decorations and details for my partner’s 50th birthday on New Year’s Eve. Her communication beforehand was excellent, and she went above and beyond. That care made the occasion memorable. Tribeca is a great setting for the hotel, walkable, quiet, and convenient, while still feeling away from the city’s chaos. Our balcony/patio was a nice extra, but that room was quite small, with only enough room for a queen bed. Keep that tradeoff in mind if you’d rather have more indoor space. The bathroom, on the other hand, was surprisingly large, very clean, and beautifully done. I’d absolutely come back when staying in Tribeca, and would happily recommend it, especially for a special occasion where thoughtful service matters.

The location was good, and the room was clean. I stayed for three days in a second-floor room, though, and it was so close to street level that the noise made it hard to sleep. Traffic kept passing, especially garbage trucks at all hours. Water pressure also wasn’t ideal and could be better.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and I especially liked the food, including the avocado toast with cranberry. We stayed within walking distance of city hall NYC for my daughter’s civil wedding. Every staff member we met was wonderful, from the doorman and receptionist to the managers on shift. Thank you all for making those days, 2/2 /-2/4, so special. I can’t wait for my daughter to stay here each year for her anniversary and recreate those great experiences. I don’t have the words to thank everyone. 10/10 for the food, staff, and location.
