Quality Inn & Suites Newberry

There isn't an elevator, so you'll need to use the stairs. Check-in was slow too: we were third in line and waited half an hour because the computer system made the attendant try each person three times. Cleanliness was the bigger problem for us. We booked because of the reviews, but our two-queen room had a strange stain on one bed, so we slept in the other. There was grime on the bed skirts, a pubic hair in the bathroom, and the carpet felt gross. I wouldn't recommend staying here. It's not the worst place I've been, but it needs a deep clean or new carpet, and the computers need an upgrade.

There isn't an elevator, so anyone who has trouble with stairs or is handicapped should call ahead to reserve a ground-floor room. Otherwise, we were really surprised by how nice our standard two-queen room was, and the staff were pleasant. There are convenient food options nearby, with Pizza Hut next door and McDonald’s across the road. The breakfast bar was great, with sausage links, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sweet rolls, and cereal.

Deb at the front desk was amazing, and everyone was super friendly. The hotel was clean, and we enjoyed the hot breakfast. I also liked the welcome card in the room and the positive little signs around the hotel. We'll definitely come back if we're in Newberry again. Thanks for a great stay!

I called to book for a snowmobile trip after being told there was trail access. That's not the case. You have to ride along the highway for a while to reach the north end of town and get onto the trail, about a 15-minute ride.
