We couldn’t sleep because of the beeping carbon detectors, and leaving the window cracked didn’t feel safe. There was no screen or extra security on the windows, and I could smell what seemed like cat pee coming through one. Inside, the bathroom and room corners had years of dirt caked into them, the bathroom floor was sticky, and the hallways smelled like cat pee too. There were people living in the hotel full time. I was so disgusted I didn’t want to sleep under the covers. The fire alarms had some kind of gum covering them, so they couldn’t detect smoke. The carbon detectors need new batteries. The refrigerator wasn’t cold, furniture had water damage despite the claim that it was remodeled, and there was no TV or DVD player. The door lock batteries were visible, along with exposed electrical parts. They’d put a horrible smelling car air freshener in the room. If it were cleaned properly, they wouldn’t need that. These rooms were awful, and I’d never stay here again even if they paid me.

The charge still hadn’t been reversed two weeks after we left, so I had to dispute it with my bank. It seems they charged my card twice and refunded it once. This whole experience felt sketchy. We checked in, looked around, and I refused to stay. The online photos don’t show what they’re selling. The room was dirty, smelled bad, had no AC or phone, and the floor was sticky. The furniture was dirty, broken, and looked like pieces rejected by Goodwill. There were long term tenants hanging around the parking lot, which felt seedy. This place is a dump and the booking felt like a bait and switch. I went to the desk about ten minutes after checking in. At first they wouldn’t refund me and said nothing was wrong with the room. We took photos of all the problems and went back. They said they were embarrassed, as other reviews mention, and agreed to refund us. We left and found somewhere else. The location is okay, but I’ll never stay here again. The outdoor walkways smelled like urine, maybe dog pee, and the rooms had a funky smell too. Everything felt dirty, and the thin walls meant I couldn’t sleep while the person next door yelled on the phone all night.

People were shouting profanity at each other outside our door, and there seemed to be drug activity in the parking lot. It felt unsafe and really uncomfortable. We decided within ten minutes of checking in that we couldn’t stay. The room was filthy, smelled awful, and had no air conditioning. The floor was sticky, the furniture was broken and stained, and the whole place was unacceptably unclean. There was no phone in the room either. The online photos were completely misleading, nothing like what we found. I asked the front desk for a refund, but the staff refused, saying they couldn’t do anything because we booked through a third party agency. They said they would notify the manager, which other reviews suggest is a standard line, but still wouldn’t issue a refund. This was one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve had: dirty, unsafe, and falsely represented online.
