The Trott House was a great place to come back to after the show. The Deal Room was comfortable and super quiet, and we got to relax in the living room before a refreshing night’s sleep. Breakfast was frittatas, fruit, and coffee. Makenzie welcomed us, showed us around, and made us feel at home. We came to Newton for an Eagles tribute band at the NPAC, a lovely venue that held about 500 people and was a 5-10 minute walk from the inn. We also enjoyed 3 Little Birds on Main Street, a family-run wine bar and shop with tapas-style food. It was another five-star spot. This was our first visit to Newton, about 45 minutes north of Charlotte, and we found the town and its people warm and friendly. The Trott House, run by Miles and Makenzie, was just as advertised and one of the most comfortable inns we’ve stayed in. Give the inn and town a try.

We’ve tried a few rooms over our visits, and each one has been well cared for with a comfortable bed. The place is clean, homey, and quiet, tucked away on a peaceful street in a small town. Check-in is easy and self-service, with coffee and a quick breakfast in the morning. We’ve loved staying at the Trott House Inn, keep coming back, and will be back soon. It’s never disappointed us.

Newton was a peaceful base for our anniversary, with local dining and things to do close enough to enjoy. We needed some time away to reflect on 25 years together, and the Trott House Inn was a lovely setting for that. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and our room felt cozy and comfortable, with everything thoughtfully prepared. The historic inn is beautifully maintained and has a warm, inviting feel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary here was unforgettable. We left with wonderful memories and full hearts, and can’t wait to return. Thank you to everyone at Trott House Inn for making our milestone so memorable.

We flew in from Buffalo, NY for a concert without knowing what to expect, and Newton turned out to be a lovely town with really friendly people. The underground bar is a must stop, the owners and bartenders there are incredible. Myles and his wife were fantastic too. The house was clean, comfortable, and friendly, and I’d come back just to relax there. Can’t wait for another porch night with Myles!

McKenzie even made us homemade sourdough bread, and the coffee, snacks, and breakfast area was always stocked. We had no complaints, except that we wish we could come back sooner. The owners were kind and hospitable, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in the Ashe Suite for a belated Valentine’s Day getaway, and it was perfect. The plush towels and in-room jacuzzi made it especially relaxing. Thank you so much!
