We arrived late and checked in because everything else was booked and we were desperate. The place was visibly dirty, and we found a bed bug in the bed. We checked out within 20 minutes, but the clerk said only the manager could give refunds. The manager wasn’t there the next day and never returned my calls. They charged my card anyway. When I disputed it, they told the card company I’d checked out the next morning instead of 20 minutes after arriving. I suspect they knew about the bugs because the heaters were running full blast, even though it was June and 80 degrees outside. It was the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen: it smelled, the carpet looked like it had never been swept, and there were insects everywhere. Find a park bench before staying here. If you need a shower, take a ride on the Maid of the Mist. Please believe this and the other reviews, and don’t make the same mistake we did.

The front desk staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. For a short Niagara Falls visit, this motel is more than bearable at this price. Breakfast is pretty limited, and some things could be better, but the reviews give you a fair idea of what to expect. If you’re after luxury, you’ll want the Hilton and a much bigger budget. Have fun!

The attached Italian restaurant was great, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s very close to the Falls, though Goat Park is currently being upgraded. They’ve recently changed the hotel’s name and are making a lot of improvements. The pool is small but fine for splashing around, especially for little kids since it isn’t deep. Good deal for the price.

The location works if gambling and eating are what you’re here for. The room felt like a $35 room, even though it cost $70. We were told there were two double beds, but there weren’t, and we paid $10 over the online rate. Check-in also took 20 minutes.
