InTown Suites Extended Stay Atlanta GA - Willow Trail

I came back to this 1990 Willow Trail location after staying for a week in April. That visit had problems too, but I managed because the toilet and stovetop worked better then. I also saw a serious dispute between a customer and the leasing manager over unresolved water problems in that guest’s unit. It escalated to yelling and police getting involved. Staff also accidentally opened my door while I was asleep. This time I trusted the property to cover my basic needs, especially for what an extended stay costs. From day one it’s been difficult. The toilet clogged and overflowed, and the manager on duty, Tanisha, blamed me instead of taking responsibility for what seemed to be a weak, ineffective flush handle. By the second day I couldn’t cook. I contacted maintenance about the stovetop on day three and was told they’d come back, but no one did. I had to call the front desk again, and the manager seemed annoyed when she sent maintenance a second time. Maintenance arrived with someone from the neighboring property. The stovetop got hot but wouldn’t cook or boil food, so I still couldn’t make meals. Rasheed, the first maintenance staff member, told me to call again if the problem continued, so I did. When I followed up, Tanisha, the front desk manager I’d mentioned, kept saying it was a hotel and that things had changed since April. She said I could only move rooms if I paid more. The problems still weren’t addressed, and I was met with frustration, annoyance, and dismissive behavior. She was rude and unprofessional. She said someone would come in the morning to fix the issue again, but nobody came. This has been a very disappointing and stressful stay. I’ve been unable to meet basic needs, especially cooking and eating my own food, despite paying a significant amount for an extended stay. The ongoing issues since the first day and the lack of accountability and professionalism have made the experience extremely difficult.
