Economy 7 Inn - Norfolk

We came from out of state looking for a reasonably priced hotel with good amenities, and this worked out well. The location was great, our room was clean and nice with fresh towels, and the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again. You can't beat the price.

We walked straight back out and found another hotel. Inside the room, the roof looked like it was caving in, and the fridge and freezer had chunks of what looked like black mold. The rooms were filthy, and outside there was trash everywhere and random chairs left around. We booked through Expedia, and the hotel said it couldn't refund us, that we'd have to go through Expedia.

My friends and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend while visiting Virginia Beach. We had a good stay, and I'd recommend it as an option. The place was quiet and felt safe, and our luggage was fine left in the rooms. Everything was clean and sanitized, with fresh sheets, new towels, and the supplies we needed. The front desk was helpful, even when we called a couple of times with requests.

I've stayed at the SureStay Hotel by Best Western on Shore Drive in Norfolk, Virginia for nine months without any problems. The staff are friendly and helpful, and make it feel like being at home with family. My room is clean and kept up well. There's reasonably priced laundry with a washer and dryer, snack machines, and plenty of ice for hot summer days. You can get around easily without a car since the hotel is on the bus line, or just walk. The beach, parks, shops, restaurants, and family entertainment are only a few blocks away. Works well for a weekend or a longer vacation. See you at the beach!
