Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Norman

The staff were kind and really helpful, and breakfast was nice. The location is convenient, near restaurants and a mall, with easy access to Highway 35. But for what they charge, the property's condition is disappointing. It's badly dated and has lots of damage. The room looked like it had been painted in a slapdash landlord special, and the rooms have a musty smell. If you get a first-floor room by the indoor pool, you'll breathe in the chlorine. I managed to crack open my bolted window just enough for some fresh air. The place needs a lot of work, and I'm sure it doesn't meet Marriott's standards.

The hotel is older, but Stephen and Rachel were incredibly kind and helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and after just one night my husband and I left feeling that it had been one of the easiest hotel stays we've had in ages.

What matters to me after spending time hotel surfing isn't fancy surroundings. I want to relax, be accommodated, and feel valued as a paying customer. That's exactly how they treated me here. The staff were wonderful, the beds are really comfortable, the breakfast bar is superb, and the indoor pool and fitness room stay open. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were already mounted in the shower too. They also welcomed my cat, who is my service animal, without any hassle. At other places I have to work hard to explain that he is a service animal, whatever people may think of that. I appreciate that the law should be taken into consideration, and here I could just relax. I'm so glad the wind brought me here. Thank you.

I've stayed at several area hotels for OU games, and this is my favorite. The rooms were very clean and sanitary, breakfast was delicious, and the man at the counter was especially friendly and helpful. It's in a convenient spot with restaurants and stores nearby. I enjoyed my stay so much that this will be my choice when I travel to the area again.
