Eastern Slope Inn Resort

We booked a room inside the resort at full price because we wanted to be on the property. The website lists separate rooms about half a mile away, and we deliberately avoided those options. We didn't realize we'd be put in another building a five minute walk away across a main road, since that wasn't clear when we booked. The main reason we chose this resort was so our kids could walk safely by themselves to the skating rink and arcade. With the distance and roads to cross, they can't do that from our building. If we'd known where we'd actually be staying, we wouldn't have paid so much for a room without convenient access to the amenities.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful when I locked myself out on 2-28-26. They got me another key. The mountain and moon views were lovely, and shops and restaurants are conveniently close.

The pool and hot tub were clean and nice to use, and it was handy that our room had pool towels. We enjoyed our October visit to Eastern Slope. It's a cool old building, and it seems like they're making an effort to update things. The staff were incredibly sweet, and gave us great suggestions for places to go. Sorry I can't remember the names of the people working the afternoon shift on 10/14, but thank you! After driving through Conway and stopping for lunch at Muddy Moose, we walked along the main street and checked out the shops that were open. Later, we loved our dinner at Craft NoCo around the corner. We felt very well looked after and would gladly stay again.

For the price and location, I'd come back and feel comfortable booking clients here too. The rooms had plenty of towels and the amenities were pretty great, though there was no housekeeping during the several days we stayed. I understand the reasons, and it didn't affect my experience. The woman who does housekeeping was always pleasant to greet in the morning. Still, people looking for a stay with housekeeping should know they won't get it here. The rooms need updating, and really the whole resort could use some care. It deserves it, though I know that's not easy. For the rate, the dated look is okay.
