School House Inn

We had a clean, comfortable room, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Tori was especially great, quick to help with our requests, and we were glad she could extend our stay. We’ll make this inn a regular stop on our North Conway vacations.

We stayed three nights and the simple, very clean accommodations were just what we wanted. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it’s well placed for lots of nearby attractions. We’ll definitely come back.

I spent one night at Schoolhouse Inn and left disappointed. Traffic from the main road was constant, and the bedroom itself had heavy dust on the lights above the bed and on the headboard. The floors and bed frames squeaked badly, too. The bathroom was in rough shape: black mold on the ceiling and floor, a loose toilet that rocked, a burnt-out bulb, a weak ceiling fan, a dirty tub with peeling surfaces, and mold along the tub trim. We left a note listing everything at the front desk, which was unmanned both times we went through the lobby. Other reviews make me think the owner doesn’t take criticism well, so I expect the note will be ignored. I can’t recommend staying here.

The cabin was so quiet and peaceful, with a lovely feeling as soon as you pull into the parking lot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the owner was welcoming too. We’ll definitely come back.
