North Conway Mountain Inn

The mountain view from the balcony was amazing, and the front desk guy was friendly and helpful. It’s right on the main strip, close to everything, and reasonably priced. The bed was the one real problem. It felt like sleeping on the floor, so we bought a mattress topper at Walmart in town just to get a more comfortable night’s sleep. That’s why I gave it four stars.

The view of the mountains from the back deck is spectacular, and the place feels peaceful. Rooms have good space, stay clean, and even come with a mini fridge with a freezer on top. I use it to freeze ice packs for my travel cooler, which is a thoughtful touch from the owners. The towels, sheets, and bed are reliably clean and comfortable, too, which matters a lot to me. I used to stay at Hampton Inn, but lately the big chains seem to have lost interest in customer satisfaction. I’ve been coming to the Mountain Inn for the past couple of years and it hasn’t let me down. The other guests I’ve met have been friendly and respectful. Royce, Annie, and Alan have all been welcoming, on top of things, and clearly work hard to make guests’ stays pleasant.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, always ready to help, and the service was outstanding. The location is perfect, too. I had a great experience that went beyond what I expected, and I’d definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The balcony deck had an incredible, uninterrupted view of North Conway. Keeping the lower field mowed is a smart way to preserve it. Our room was very clean and comfortable, though a little dated, and the stay was definitely satisfying. Allen helped us check in with a lot of politeness and care, and he keeps the place clean as well. Annie was spirited and helpful when we made the reservation, and we appreciated the kind, grateful attitude at checkout. The staff seem to respect their customers, which might explain why the parking lot was full. We’ll return. One small suggestion: spraying a vinegar, salt, and dish soap mix on the grass growing in the stone walk paths might help keep it down. Thank you!
