SpringHill Suites Las Vegas North Speedway

I prefer Marriott to other brands, though most Marriott hotels are franchised. I’d stay here again and would recommend it. The rooms are clean, and the staff are great, but several small details were missed. The body wash was empty when I showered, the reading light over the bed didn’t work, breakfast was honestly pretty bad, and there weren’t many TV options. The other issue seems to be the building design. Why can’t I turn on the main light over the bed without also switching on the desk light and the light by the fridge? I can’t turn off the desk and fridge lights without cutting power to the light over the bed.

This was our third stay for an annual event, and I can’t wait to come back next year. Claire Garcia made our group’s stay top notch, and every staff member we dealt with this weekend was kind and helpful. This is easily my favorite place to stay in Las Vegas. My phone wasn’t working, so I called the front desk. By the time we got back from our event, they had fixed it. It was a pleasure being taken care of by everyone at Springhill Suites.

SpringHill by Marriot is a quiet place, away from the main street in Las Vegas. I stayed four nights, and the breakfast menu was the same every day, with only two or three hot items. That seemed a little unusual to me. If you’re looking to party all night on Main Street, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The hotel is 15 miles from there.

I’m simply asking for the $900 I paid for the rooms to be returned. I don’t want to start an argument or go back and forth with anyone, especially when things have already been hard enough. I called two months ahead to cancel because I no longer wanted to take the trip after a friend who was going with us had recently died. I planned to use the room money to help pay for the funeral. When I booked by phone, I was told I could cancel up to 48 hours before the booking date. I wrote that down along with the confirmation numbers, and I emphasized it several times. I never received an email with the reservation details. I’ve called repeatedly over the past two weeks and left messages for the manager, Claire, but she hasn’t responded. Communication from her has been horrible.
