Days Inn by Wyndham North Platte

It looked nothing like the pictures, and I'll never stay there again. The curtains were dirty, as if they had never been cleaned, the linens were stained, and the place was horrible. The pool was closed for some kind of violations. Our AC didn't work the whole stay, and the broken shower head couldn't be adjusted, so the bathroom flooded every time we showered. The woman at the front desk was rude from the start. I have videos of other things I documented, but can't add them here.

I booked a king room online through Wyndham rewards. As soon as the woman learned we had service animals, she tried to move us to a single queen room. I pushed back and got the room I had reserved. Otherwise, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's an older property, but seems to be maintained well.

The carpet had a big tear and I tripped on it. The pool area was dirty and smelled strongly of mildew and mold, and breakfast was sparse and not fresh. It's an old motel-style place, run down and very dirty, and not worth $110 a night. I can't recommend staying here, and we won't be back 😒

When we're driving through, this is usually where we stop. It's a small, clean motel with a little pool and hot tub that always seem to work, and the breakfast is good.
