Holiday Inn Express & Suites - North Platte by IHG

Breakfast had a ton to choose from, including four egg options, three meats, biscuits and gravy, homemade Oatmeal, breads, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, fruit, juices, and even almond milk. There was plenty of seating, and the staff kept the area clean while being polite and helpful. The lobby was fresh and clean, with modern decor that still felt comfortable. Our room was spacious and stylish, with extra pillows, lots of large towels, nice bath and hair products, plus a fridge, keurig, and microwave. Ice machines and laundry were easy to find. The check-in woman was very friendly. We've stayed at other H.I. Express hotels, but this one was our favorite by far. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

That breakfast was way more extensive than at some other Holiday Inn Express spots, and we really enjoyed it before heading back out. The morning desk staff weren't quite as friendly as the night audit crew, though that's my only complaint. We arrived at 3am after driving across the country for exactly 24 hours, and the two people on the night shift were superb. I'd forgotten to cancel my room before check-in day, so my sister and I were glad it worked out. The pool and hot tub being open 24 hours was perfect after all that time on the road. We got a few hours of sleep, soaked in the tub, then ate breakfast and left.

We didn't get to try breakfast since we had to leave too early. Still, the room was quiet, clean, and everything worked. The bed and bedding were comfortable, the staff were nice, and it was good value for our April 2026 drive to Colorado. We'd stay here again.

The breakfast setup was about twice as varied as what I usually see at these hotels, and it was clean and well managed. Staff across the board were friendly and gave great service, from the front desk to the cleaning and breakfast teams. I've stayed at plenty of HIE properties all over the country during the past 2 decades, and this was the best one hands down. It was very clean and reasonably priced. The management and staff deserve credit for putting so much care into the place.
