Hampton Inn North Sioux City

The room was a little warm. I turned down the thermostat, but it still read 75 in the morning. I’m starting to think Hampton doesn’t care about comfort anymore. At every Hampton we’ve stayed in, the thermostat seems set too high even when we lower it. They’re starting to lose our business.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the location right off the interstate was nice. Great breakfast too. We always have a great stay at a Hampton Inn.

There’s a good breakfast spread with waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cold cereal, yogurt, and some fruit. The beds are big and the rooms are clean. We’ll stay here again when we’re in the area.

The breakfast was fantastic, check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly. I stayed one night while passing through. The bed was a little hard for my taste, but not enough to put me off coming back. My one complaint is the pet fee. The website says “pets allowed, charges may apply,” but when I checked in and filled out the pet form, they charged $50 for one dog for one night. I understand needing to clean up dog hair and such, but I wish the fee had been listed on the website. I’d stay here again.
