Lake Shore Farm Inn

The rooms were lovely, clean, bright, and comfortable, with a relaxing, homey feel. The property is close to whatever you might need, and it's set back from the main road, away from the hustle and bustle. The grounds are beautiful, and the husband and wife who own the Lake Shore Inn are kind and clearly care about guests enjoying themselves. When I checked in, they explained there were plenty of amenities for my wife and me. The place is huge, and the two owners handle all its maintenance. If nobody's at the desk, there's a sign with a number to call. Don't be put off by complaints about the relaxed check-in and checkout process or no one being there to greet you. I was very happy with my stay and will definitely come back.

The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and I liked being able to sign in to my own apps on the Roku TV instead of figuring out local channels. Just remember to sign out again. The owners live on the property and made us feel well looked after, and it was reassuring to know we could reach them quickly by phone or text if anything came up. We were greeted by a really friendly host who showed us around, and we fell for the place right away. The lake water comes from a fresh spring and is very clean. The kayaks and pedal boat are first come, first served, and in good shape. A great spot for families, and convenient for a 2-3 night stay with day trips to Manchester, Concord, Hampton, and Portsmouth. I'd stay here again if I'm back in the area.

My new husband and I spent the weekend here, and we got married on Saturday. This wonderful place lived up to everything we'd hoped for during such a special weekend. We felt calm and relaxed, and slept like babies in the cozy, comfortable hotel. Mariam had left us a large bouquet of flowers in the room, which we used at our wedding, plus a box of chocolate truffles. Thank you so much! ❤💞😍🥰👍

We had such a good weekend. The big inn felt like a home away from home, only way cooler. We were nervous about getting away during all the Covid craziness, but those jitters disappeared once we were there. There's lots of space and comfort to relax at your own pace and feel safe. The large property has a big fire pit, water access, and plenty of spots to unwind. The owner was really accommodating and cooked individual meals from her daily menu. The choices aren't extensive, but everything we tried was delicious. She suggested we check out the online menu before our next stay so she could get fresh ingredients ready for us. Just a kind, lovely stay. The bedding was so comfortable, and the stars at night are amazing.
