Best Western Norwalk

The pool room was lovely and comfortable, though we missed our chance to swim. The owner is nice. The shower tub is tiny, so if you want to take a hot bath alone, put towels down or you'll make a mess. There's also a hot tub downstairs.

We came to best western for one night and a swim. Things were going fine until we opened our floor room window to take a picture of the blue lights outside. A woman came over asking, “do you wanna see some puppies,” and at first it seemed normal. Then she leaned into our window and spent over an hour going on about her life and trauma, saying the cartel was after her and she was the prophet. She was very much on something. It'd take a 10-page essay to include everything she said. When the cops first showed up, she banged on our window, flung it open, and talked to us for another 30 minutes. We eventually went to the front desk and told falicity (idk how to spell her name). The cops came a second time, told her to leave, and we got moved to another room. It's a great story now. No hate on the hotel, it wasn't their fault, but FALICITY DESERVES A RAISE THOUGH.

A clean room, comfortable bed, and good included breakfast made this a great value, especially next to other hotels in the area. It's a short drive from Cedar Point, and the shades kept the room dark even with an easy-facing window.

At first I was ready to sleep in the car, but after giving the place a chance, it wasn't the worst. The rooms were okay and fairly clean, except for a blood smear on the curtain. The smallest bathroom I've ever seen had things broken, and the room worked dysfunction. The rules themselves weren't terrible, but the overpowering, disgusting smell of weed and Indian food really set the bar. Maybe I'll look for somewhere better next time.
