Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Oak Brook

I'm here for eight nights, and the housekeeping schedule I've been given keeps changing. At check-in, I was told housekeeping would clean every other day. After I found dirty towels in the bathroom and clean ones left on the couch, I asked the front desk. The woman there said they'd replace towels and empty the trash on day two, then do a full clean on day six. I told her that wasn't what I'd been told at check-in. I called after returning to my room and said the trash hadn't been emptied either. She said she'd let the team know they hadn't done what they were supposed to. But when I came back again that evening, the dirty towels were still in the bathroom and the trash still hadn't been emptied. I wonder whether anyone passed on the message. Now I'm not sure if this is personal because I complained yesterday.

Clean, nice room and a really pleasant breakfast area. The staff were friendly, relaxed, and accommodating. I asked for a few extra things and they brought them promptly. I'll definitely come back when I'm visiting the Oak Park area.

Melanie was so kind and took wonderful care of my beloved dog, Roxy, while I had to travel home for the weekend. Knowing Roxy was with someone so loving and capable gave me real peace of mind. I love how pet-friendly this hotel is. They treat guests and their furry companions with care and respect. Dede and Galie were incredibly kind to Roxy too, and it meant a lot to see how warmly they welcomed her. Roxy already misses you all. We're so grateful for everything and for the kindness you showed us.

Easy to get to, right off the highway, and the staff are amazing. The rooms give you that home-away-from-home feeling when you're staying away for a few days, and it's nice coming “home” at night. Great breakfast too. I love it here. ❤️
