We were there for a family wedding with small kids, and the full-length mirror came in handy. The beds were really comfortable, the AC worked great, and the shower had plenty of water pressure. The toiletries were good quality, and when we called the help desk for anything, they brought it right away. I checked for bed bugs first because recent reviews mentioned seeing or being bitten by them, but there weren’t any. The rooms were nice, though even in the non-smoking section, the hallways smelled of cigarettes and weed.
8/10
The front desk and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a handy airport shuttle, and they’ll hold your bags if your flight leaves after checkout. The AC wasn’t working, but someone came to fix it right away. There’s a really good restaurant next door. Registration is in a separate building from the rooms, though, and the wheelchair ramp to the room building wasn’t conveniently placed.
6/10
The room was pretty decent for the price, and I’d probably stay overnight again. The building felt dingy, and the elevator smelled strongly of smoke. Also, the AC shut off for a while around midnight even though the room was still warmer than the temperature it was set to. I think it may have an energy-saving controller.
10/10
The Jolly Roger restaurant connected to the lobby was a big plus, and the staff there and at the hotel were both really nice. The room was clean and very nice too, with a comfortable bed and pillows. I’m coming back for next week’s game and the Christmas Eve game. I’d definitely recommend checking out both places.
10/10
We went to a concert at Oracle Arena, which was an easy walk away, and the quick, simple check-in was a plus. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There’s also a diner on site, Jolly Rogers, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It had good Yelp reviews, and we’ll stay here again.
