We arrived around 8 p.m. and found one room unlocked, but none of the keys worked even after staff tried reprogramming them four times. Another room smelled awful. The third had messy beds and garbage everywhere, as if it hadn't been turned over or someone was still using it. We took our things and found somewhere else to stay. Staff and the manager were rude while arguing with us about a refund, which they're resisting by citing a 24-hour cancellation policy. We hadn't cancelled; we showed up and the hotel failed to provide the rooms we booked. We reserved four rooms together two months ahead and were told that would be no problem, only to be split up when we got there. They should have explained at booking that the rooms weren't guaranteed to be together. The worst hotel experience. Wouldn't recommend it.

Marissa, the General Manager, was polite and helpful. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was hot. They were still bringing food out five minutes before breakfast ended. One of the best Comfort Inns I’ve stayed at. Money well spent, and I’d recommend it.

Driving through Florida from Michigan late at night, we checked three hotels before finding this Comfort Inn. We weren't impressed by the others or their prices. This place was in a nice location and cost under $100. The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. It was a quick stay, but we enjoyed it.

The room was 322. Its door wouldn't close and latch properly, and we couldn't deadbolt it. The smoke detector was missing too, both pretty important problems. At checkout, I told the front desk and the girl only said, “I’ll let maintenance know.” That was all.

After spending the weekend helping a friend move in the Florida heat, I arrived at the Comfort Inn on Pine Ave in Ocala sore and worn out. Lili and Marissa at the desk got me checked in so fast and cheerfully that it felt like my key appeared by magic. The room had cold A/C, a comfortable bed, and a shower with strong pressure. I lay down and practically merged with the mattress. If you're tired or aching and want a clean place with friendly people, this Comfort Inn Ocala Pine Ave did the trick for me. Lili and Marissa deserve a raise for the way they run things.
