Comfort Inn Ocean City Boardwalk

The balcony facing the beach was a real highlight, and the lobby coffee was decent. The man who checked us in at night was lovely, too. But the walls are thin: I woke up to doors banging and people talking in the parking lot. The mattresses could use an update. Next time I’ll bring earplugs and melatonin if I want to sleep in.

The staff made us feel so welcome, even with strong winds and a rough ocean outside. The boardwalk is just beyond the outdoor pool at 5th St. Our room was huge, with two queen beds, a sofa bed, and a kitchenette. The bed was comfortable, and there’s a full breakfast downstairs. We’d happily return.

The kitchenette was handy, the beds were comfortable, and everything was really clean. When we couldn’t open the balcony door, staff came right over and showed us it just needed a push before pulling. They were also helpful about what was open within easy walking distance.

My room looked out over the boardwalk, and the hotel is right downtown. When the heater stopped working, a man at the counter left his post, came straight to my room, and fixed it right away. The room was big and comfortable. What more do you need?
