High Point South PH9 - 2 Br Home

Our group of eight, five adults, two kids, and one toddler, stayed in PH2. The two-story penthouse gave us lots of space. We had a spectacular view of the beach and ocean, easy beach access, and a pleasant pool area with plenty of room and seating.

Don't stay in 4G. The whole visit was one problem after another. I signed an agreement saying the check-in age was 21, then two days before the trip they emailed to say I had to be 25. I showed them the agreement and they let it go. Once we checked in, the place looked nothing like the listing and was filthy. There was mold throughout the bedroom, with mold and dirt all over the walls, and everything seemed dirty or broken. We told the property manager, who sent housekeeping back, but that did nothing. I wouldn't recommend it.

I spent two weeks at Highpoint South 1F in July 2021. The unit had been completely renovated, with brand-new air conditioners and lovely, high-quality decor. The bedroom is large, with two double beds. The oceanfront porch is the biggest I've ever seen. I worked at the table and chairs while taking in the view, then took breaks on the lounge chairs. It gets afternoon shade, so after a warm, sunny beach visit it was a perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy the ocean. The elevator can be slow, but the stairs are easy to use. It's called a first-floor unit, though it's elevated above a whole floor with the garage and raised pool underneath.

You can bike or walk nearby, and there's a good playground for the kids. Northside park is a mile away, with kayaks and paddle boards available to rent. The property is right on the beach and has a pool too.
