Nautilus Condos

Great place, with clean, comfortable rooms and a full kitchen. It's nice not having to eat out if you don't want to.

The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do, and we liked being able to go out, come back for food, then head out again. We saw deer out back almost every day, and the full kitchen was nice. It was also great that dogs were allowed for an extra fee. The check-in delay caused problems: we couldn't get in until an hour after the scheduled time, and by the time we realized the advertised sleeper couch wasn't there, the office had closed. One child and one adult had to sleep on the floor the first night. We reached them the next morning and they brought an air mattress, but I hope the listing for room 104 is changed to say it sleeps two unless an air mattress is requested. We'd booked for four. The doors squeak badly and need oiling, and the bathroom sink's hot water knob doesn't work well, so the kids couldn't turn it all the way off. Still, it was a great place to spend time at the ocean.

I've stayed here for about two days nearly every summer, and it feels like the place is slowly going downhill. My current room has no clocks or DVD player, so the movies I brought are useless, and the bed is going to kill my back. The decorations are warm and welcoming, though, and it's decent and quiet. There's no outdoor seating, just a small dog area by the road, away from the condo.

The beach paths start right behind the property, and it’s also just a two-minute drive to the grocery store and public beach access. We stayed in corner unit 108 on the ground floor. It had beachy decor, its own internet, a private balcony, a full kitchen, and a smart TV. Baking pizza in the kitchen was my favorite part. It was pretty warm when we arrived, but property management let us pick up a fan. A great beach home away from home, 10/10.
