The place looks rough from the outside, and some of the rooms seemed half ransacked. My room itself was okay, but at 5:30 in the morning someone was pounding on a door and yelling about a girl. They were later arrested. Nobody offered any reassurance that we were safe or any compensation. The low price makes sense, but I wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

The breakfast was good, and the hotel was quiet when I needed to sleep. It’s affordable, too. Nadia at reception really stood out: she was kind, knew her stuff, and tried to help with anything she could to make the stay comfortable. Thanks to How are Johnson for the hospitality and service. If we're in town again, we'd check in here.

I was charged $70 for three towels after a one-night stay. I work in the oil field, and I guess they got dirty when I showered. The room itself cost less than $70, and my deposit was only $50. When I went back the next day to ask about the charge, the manager was disrespectful. I asked for a number to contact someone, and she called Odessa pd on me. They gave me a criminal trust pass case. I felt the whole thing was wrong, but I guess I had no say about my hard-earned money. If you stay here, bring your own towels.

Check-in requires a smartphone and internet, even for walk-ins, and they don't take cash. I also had to upload a photo of my ID to a website after being promised it wouldn't be mishandled. The room smelled strongly of smoke.

Shelbie at the front desk sorted out a problem with my room right away, and everyone on staff was friendly. I was only there for a night, but the warm waffle in the morning and coffee available 24 hours made my day. Loved staying here and would definitely recommend it.
