It's basically a bed and a hot shower, and the stay was decent, not terrible. The food was just meh. Getting to the highway is really difficult with the construction, and when it rains, this flood zone could be a problem unless you've got a truck. Nothing spectacular.

FOOD POISONING! I'm an oilfield worker and was scheduled to stay at this hotel for a week while we had a job in Odessa. They said meals were available, so I was glad I could have breakfast and dinner there instead of getting up early to find breakfast before work. On the third day I got very sick, with vomiting, a fever, dizziness and nausea, and ended up at urgent care. The doctor told me I'd contracted a bacteria because of the food.

Housekeeping was the main problem for me. They were really loud all day and seemed to have no regard for people sleeping during the daytime. Otherwise, it's a decent place to stay, with a decent gym. The food can be hit or miss.

The cafeteria food was great, and everyone was friendly. The rooms are much more spacious than at Target, and having a private shower instead of sharing one means a lot. Raydean, the manager here at armadillo, was so friendly and gave me great advice after my wallet was stolen from my car. She was amazing.

Only stayed one night, and getting to the room was easy. You'll need your phone since room access is through a QR code.
