Imperial Motel

The owners and operators were great to deal with, and the prices worked well for my work trip. Jay, Reka, and Belinda were all a joy during my stay. It’s a little dated, but quiet, affordable, and in a good spot. I’ll come back when I’m on a budget. Thanks.

Quiet, clean, affordable, and the beds were comfortable. The room had an HD cable TV, mini fridge, and plenty of space for clothes. It’s worth a look if you need a cheap but decent place, especially if you want to use the 2nd Street route. Update: some rooms are being modified. So far I've seen new furniture and carpet.

I accidentally left behind a pillow I'd had since childhood, a keepsake from my grandfather. I went back once I realized, and luckily it was still in the trash bin. The owner was unkind when I was crying about it being thrown away. He said if it mattered so much, I wouldn't have forgotten it, and that they didn't have to keep it. Don't leave anything sentimental there.

My friend had just driven me for eight hours and wanted to come in, relax, and eat pizza with us for a bit before leaving with her dog. The staff were rude and told her to leave because they don't allow dogs to stay. We tried to explain she wasn't staying, but they apparently couldn't understand that. Just rude and dumb.
