Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Oklahoma City-Warr Acres

Eh, it was just okay. The rooms were plain but clean, and there were cracked lampshades in the hall. Only two of the five floors had a working ice machine. Breakfast was about as basic as a hot breakfast gets, the TV had just a few channels, and my key kept malfunctioning. The pool was tiny, and the hot tub had been filled with concrete. A few simple upgrades would make a big difference.

Nothing special, and I won’t be back. The room door had a huge gap that let in light, the blinds were hard to close, and bright lights on the old AC unit and microwave made the room bright at night. The suite TVs were outdated. Showers were lukewarm with weak pressure, and the pool room was dingy, with a slippery floor and an old hot tub filled with concrete. There were broken lampshades all over the third-floor hallway.

Jack and Charles were wonderful with customer service. They answered all my questions and recommended some great local restaurants. My kids and I loved the pool, and we appreciated the breakfast they arranged for us in the mornings. Amazing hotel, 10/10 for me. We’ll definitely be back!👍🏻

I’ve stayed here every year since it opened, and it remains a good overnight option in this part of OKC. It’s in a safe area, has plenty of parking, and the location is very good. The price is inexpensive, though Motel 6 costs less. The breakfast buffet is excellent for this kind of lodging. This isn’t the Ritz-Carlton, and it doesn’t try to be. I’d suggest adding a buzzer or cow bell at the front desk, since it’s often unattended and arriving guests can be unsure what to do. The property has been renovated over the years, and management has done an adequate job keeping it fresh.
