Homewood Suites by Hilton Oklahoma City Airport

Marialina and Norma in housekeeping may have prevented a dangerous blowout. As we were checking out and leaving our car under the carport, they spotted a problem with our tires. They saw our Texas plates and came back to warn us because we had a long drive ahead. We got new tires right away. I can't thank them enough for taking the time to say something. We were in town for the OU and LSU game, and the stay itself was perfect. The rooms were clean, the kitchen came in handy for our post-Thanksgiving leftovers and other food, and the stadium was about a 25-minute drive away. 10/10 for me!

The only thing I’d change is the warmth at the front desk. Otherwise, the room was really nice, it was quiet, and the location worked out great. A great stay all around.

The hotel itself is clean and nice, but the front desk interaction put me off. The woman there asked me three times what kind of service animal I had, and she was very aggressive about it. I told her the ADA doesn't allow her to ask me those questions, and she stopped. There was no apology or anything.

I was especially disappointed by the lack of flexibility in an emergency. In the past, customer service has refunded even nonrefundable Priceline bookings when illness disrupted plans. Hilton's response here felt short on empathy and care, and not what I'd expect from a hospitality brand with its reputation. I think Hilton should review its policies or let its hotels make exceptions for genuine emergencies. At the very least, customer loyalty should count for something, with a bit more compassion in situations like mine. I had booked and paid for one night on Aug 30, 2025, but my son unexpectedly got sick on the day we were due to arrive, so we couldn't travel. I called the hotel right away to explain. They said they couldn't refund me because I hadn't cancelled 24 hours ahead. I understand that hotels have policies to protect their operations, but illness, especially in children, is unpredictable. Refusing even to consider a refund in those circumstances doesn't seem reasonable or humane. I'm very dissatisfied with how this was handled.
