Staybridge Suites Oklahoma City-Quail Springs by IHG

The hotel is handy for Quail Springs Mall, and I liked the breakfast and evening socials. Check the hotel for which days they run. I haven’t seen another property offer fountain drinks at those times, and there was plenty of food with a rotating evening menu that seemed like a good value for families. The rooms are roomy, with full-size fridges and kitchenware, and I appreciated the pet-friendly policy. My check-in felt transactional, with no basic explanation of where the elevators were, breakfast hours, or checkout. When I asked for a toiletry I’d forgotten, I was sent to the overpriced gift shop. I also overheard staff say that “extra” toiletries were for “the right clients,” which left me feeling undervalued. The rooms function fine, though walk-in showers would make the suites feel more modern. It’s a satisfactory option with good amenities, but the uneven service means I probably won’t return.

When I’m in OKC, this is my regular choice, and Jade is a big reason. She’s quick, professional, very friendly, and helpful. The hotel and its location are both quiet, and the rooms are clean as well.

I’ve stayed here three times and plan to come back. At check-in and checkout, Rick and Jade were both warm and professional. My room was clean, comfortable, and really nice. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and tasty, and the young woman keeping it stocked did a great job.

Staybridge had everything we were looking for on a family visit: a pool, complimentary breakfast, a full fridge and kitchenette, and a spot near food, family, and kid-friendly activities. The pool stayed open through Sunday when we left, which worked out perfectly after we checked a few times. We were traveling with my husband and our 5yr old, while my in-laws had a room of their own. Everyone was kind and the customer service was excellent. The place was kept clean, and we liked having something a little different at breakfast each day. We’d definitely consider a Staybridge again, and we’ll come back to this one if we’re in OK.
