Towneplace Suites Oklahoma City Airport Hotel

The staff were pleasant, and breakfast was good, but they didn't refill things often enough, so a few items ran out quickly. The hotel is fairly close to OKC airport and has a free shuttle, though you have to request it and might have to wait, so leave time for that. The facility is good overall, but several cabinets in our room and bathroom were beat up. Drawers were misaligned, wouldn't open or shut, or just sat crooked. Paint was worn in a lot of places. The A/C worked well but was really loud. The shower and toilet were basic, and the bathroom felt a bit cramped.

The beds in the two room suite were comfortable, and it was a pretty good stay overall. I couldn't see how the sofa counted as a "sofa bed," since it didn't pull out, fold down, or change at all. A few lights didn't work either, and one lamp didn't even have a bulb. Aside from those minor issues, it was a good hotel.

The rooms are good, the pool is well maintained, and there's a grill customers can use. The staff are friendly and the location is convenient. I'd stay again, but I wouldn't rely on breakfast unless they make a change. I have to take off two stars because of the pork at breakfast. The eggs are put in the same container as the pork, and the flavor carries over so strongly that, as someone who doesn't eat pork, I couldn't get past the taste of a boar pig in rut.

The location worked well, with restaurants, convenience stores, and a superstore nearby for late night needs. I only stayed one night with a few friends, and we had the indoor pool to ourselves, which I enjoyed. The room had a fridge, stovetop, microwave, and pots and skillets for cooking, which was new to me. The bathroom was compact, but the shower was decent. I didn't stay long enough to try the continental breakfast, though it's nice that they offer it. My main complaint was the old washers and dryers that only took quarters. That felt pretty petty. I don't use hotels often, but this one met my needs.
