La Quinta Inn And Suites Olathe

The rooms were very clean, with no bugs or mold, which is more than I can say about other hotels I've stayed at while traveling. I was there four nights, and the bed was very comfortable with lots of room. Breakfast was yummy and got me going in the morning. I didn't swim, but the pool looked warm and cozy. The unit in my room made noise, so we turned it off and used our own fan. Highly recommend staying here!

We stayed December 23-25, 2026. The room was spacious and clean, with two separate bedrooms. The indoor pool was very warm, and the washer and dryer I used worked perfectly. Breakfast was cooked and hot early in the morning, with a range of choices.

Stayed 11-24-25 in rm 247. The room was quiet despite being by the stairway door, clean, spacious, and had no bugs. AC and WiFi both worked well. The mattress was very firm, but it's the newer kind that conforms to your body. TV channels were basic and old school. The front area was clean and spacious, with a nice marble-like touch in the elevator. As a diamond member, I got an upgrade easily. Pretty nice stay, $103 after taxes.

The breakfast lady was so sweet, and I liked the lobby ambiance. But the beds were a real disappointment. We stayed two nights and changed rooms the second night hoping for a better king bed, but both mattresses had obvious dips and made it impossible to sleep in the middle. Wyndham should have the same standards across its hotels. This one doesn't even provide lotion, which is awful when you get out of the shower after shaving. There was also a weed smell in the hallway this morning. On our second morning, an older couple were still eating after we finished breakfast and asked why the TV had gone off. The front desk woman said they had to turn it off at the end of breakfast. The couple said they weren't ready to get up and wanted to watch a little longer, but she wouldn't budge. That was terrible customer service, just rude to shut off a show while guests were sitting there. I won't stay here again or recommend it. They don't seem to care about making guests comfortable or happy.
