The family who runs the Variety Store are so nice. We stopped in hoping to get a sandwich and ended up with the best breakfast sandwich we'd had in a long time. It was just perfect, 10 out of 10.

The owners were so kind and accommodating, and the beach was only about a three minute walk away, if that. The one drawback was not having a bathtub for the little ones who don't like showers.

After a full day at the beach we needed food, and this place came through. I've been coming up here for over 20 years and it's had several owners, but the current ones really know what they're doing. I had an egg breakfast sandwich and an Italian sub, both delicious. Definitely recommend!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and for the price the dated decor didn't bother me. They seem to have added bolt locks, perhaps in response to an earlier review. There's a convenience store downstairs with nearly anything you might need. Don't miss the sandwiches there, especially the breakfast ones. They're killer.

I loved the homey feel of this small, quaint place. The room was very clean, and when I had a small issue with my first room, they moved me right away. The bathroom was on the small side, but the shower had lots of hot water and great pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good, with generous portions and reasonable prices for the area. It's a short walk to the beach. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, since there aren't any in the rooms. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it.
