Comfort Suites West Omaha

We were in Omaha on December 25, 2025, and the fog was so bad that we didn’t want to keep driving home. Choice Privileges found us a room here. Everything was perfect, and the hotel was very nice. Breakfast and coffee were good the next morning. I’d recommend this place, and Choice Hotels too.

The rooms were great, but I’m sure I can find somewhere similar that’s upfront about its charges. The cashier asked for a card for incidentals without telling me they’d charge $100 to it. I travel five days a week, so that was really disappointing. I won’t be back.

The only reason I keep considering this place is the rate on third-party booking sites. Over almost two weeks of repeat stays, I was charged as much as $99 for one night and $165 for two nights, and I was overcharged three separate times. The latest was just the other day. They said a refund would take four business days. I got back a random $53.03 charge, but still not the $165. There have been room problems too: a broken shower rod in one, a TV that didn’t work in another, and during a four-day stay nobody cleaned the room or took out the trash. Today the elevator was out, and I had to use the stairs despite my health issues. I can’t do stairs, and felt trapped on the third floor. They don’t know when it’ll be fixed. They say “sorry sir,” but make no effort to fix anything. The way they brush off concerns gives the impression they really don’t care.

The GM and staff are amazing. My room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was satisfying and filling. Best hotel in the Omaha area!
