I’d give zero stars if I could. At check-in, the guy completely misunderstood me and got me all wrong. He was extremely rude. Support another local hotel nearby.

The staff were absolutely amazing, and the place was very clean and quiet. I really enjoyed staying here. It’s right off the interstate and only minutes from everything.

We were among the people without power after yesterday’s severe storm, and had an exhausted three-year-old who desperately needed sleep. Every other hotel was booked, so we took a two-night stay in case our power was still out the next day. If our toddler hadn’t needed sleep so badly, we wouldn’t have stayed even one night. We left at dawn the next morning. The room was disgusting: holes in the walls, no toilet paper, peeling wallpaper, black hairs in our bed sheets, and a moldy smell. We woke up really itchy, and there were signs of mold, rust, and mildew everywhere. The manager greeted us chewing tobacco, which should have been a red flag from the start. I demanded a full refund. After a long argument, the manager gave only part of it, so we’ve disputed the rest. It may be affordable, but I’d rather pay more for a decent place. Run from here. Do not stay!

The owner was very friendly at check-in, the bugs I found were dead, the bathroom area was okay, and the water pressure was good. Our two cars and trailer also weren’t broken into. That’s about all I can say in its favor. The hotel smells like smoke, and people in both neighboring rooms were smoking outside, with someone smoking inside too. The parking lot was filthy, with cigarette butts everywhere. When I tried to plug in my charger, I found dead bugs behind the nightstand, both beds, and under furniture across the room. The sheets looked clean, but the bedspread was yellow-stained underneath, and there were black stains on the brown carpet. Filth was smeared on the nightstand and wall. The TV had no channels and wasn’t connected to the hotel internet. Interstate noise was very loud. We stayed because the pet fee was low. It was late and we just wanted to sleep, but we’ll probably regret not leaving. I stay in hotels a lot, and this is the first time I’ve photographed what was in my car because I thought it might get broken into. This should be a $60-a-night motel. I should’ve listened to my gut when I pulled in.
