Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Omaha West

The room was clean and some staff were nice, but I wouldn't stay here again unless someone else paid for it. The shower wouldn't drain because of hair left by previous guests, a dresser drawer wouldn't close, and the TV didn't work. There was also a 'Uer' stuck in the top left corner of the screen no matter what I tried. Breakfast downstairs was awful: dry, gross sausage, watery eggs, and coffee with only hazelnut creamer. The place seems nice at first, but that wasn't my experience.

The hotel stayed peaceful during my long visit of 4+ days, and being tucked away at the back made it feel private and quiet. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and staff brought extra towels when I needed them. Both elevators were working. I would suggest updating the mattress and vacuuming the hallways more often. Otherwise, it was a comfortable, enjoyable stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.

We had just driven ten hours with an infant, and then my husband had to go around town to buy a safe sleep space that we had been told the hotel would provide. I had booked well in advance after calling to ask about pack n plays for families traveling with infants. I was told it would be added to our reservation notes. A few hours before check-in on 12/29, I called again, and Edward confirmed one would be in the room. It wasn't there when we arrived, and nobody offered another solution. When we asked about reimbursement for buying the sleeping area after being told it would be provided, someone at the front desk, who I assume was Edward again, responded rudely and made us feel gaslit. I asked for a call to discuss it but heard nothing. We wish the hotel had either followed through or let us know it couldn't provide one so we could make other arrangements, and had communicated with some empathy. The bathroom was also dirty at check-in, with long black hairs on the shower floor and a white substance smeared on the wall by the toilet. I have photos. If anything can be done to make up for this unnecessarily stressful stay, we'd appreciate it.

The production booked us here while we were in town for the "All is Merry & Bright" movie premiere. I felt very comfortable, and the location seemed safe. Customer service was phenomenal, and the room was extremely clean. My only suggestion would be to have breakfast options for vegan or plant-based guests who don't eat animal products or dairy. They may normally have them, but there weren't any during my stay. If I'm back in the Omaha area, I'd definitely book here again.
