The apartments themselves look beautiful, but that’s about all I can say in their favor. My previous place, also rented through elevate living, left me dealing with mold and unsafe conditions before I paid $1,800 to move out early. At this property, I moved in June 2025 and the roof started leaking badly in July. Every time it rained, it felt like I was standing outside. Water damage continued for nine months, with chunks of wood falling into my kitchen. Maintenance kept saying nothing could be done until spring, when the roof could be fully replaced. After the state was contacted in March 2026, they fixed it in less than a week, before spring. For the water, they gave me two trash cans to protect the floor. They also said the mold from the leak wasn’t their problem and told me to spray it myself. Two weeks before I moved out, someone inspected the roof and said they saw nothing wrong, despite the damage to the roof and pipes. Maintenance requests can take weeks, and if you aren’t home they may leave your unit unlocked. Mine was left open for six hours; luckily, I had a camera. They took a week to fix my heat after it stopped working for three days in winter, when the apartment got down to 49 degrees. Management ignored complaints and requests. I was told I could park in a certain area and did so for four or five hours without trouble. When I moved out, I was towed from that same spot after less than half an hour. The sky lounge stayed locked for my whole lease, and the roof was covered in trash and vomit most of the time. The elevators were out of order about half the time. When they worked, people stuck Zyns to the ceiling, and dogs peed and pooped in the elevator and lobby without anyone cleaning it up. No matter how nice the apartments look, this isn’t worth the money, time, or stress.
