Comfort Suites Omaha Northwest

The location was convenient, but there wasn’t much else to recommend the hotel. Two large live bugs were on the floor when we entered, which made us uneasy right away. The toilet seat was cracked and the toilet had trouble flushing once. The fridge was noisy but didn’t cool anything. We came down for breakfast around 9:20 one morning, but the bar had already closed even though the posted hours were 6:30 to 9:30. Another couple arrived after us and looked frustrated too.

The room was quiet and clean, and the bathroom was clean too. The towels felt luxurious. The window shades were excellent, with a sheer option or full blackout.

I was still on the road for another hour after checking out at 2 a.m. because no hotels had rooms. Then I had to keep driving through snow and black ice before finding somewhere to stay. I asked twice for my money back and was refused both times. Earlier, I’d noticed an employee carrying bug spray. She said there wasn’t a problem when I asked, but about three hours after falling asleep I woke up having an asthma attack. I’m sure the spray caused it. When I switched on the light, there were bugs everywhere. I have at least 10 photos. Awful place, don’t stay here.

Clean place, friendly staff, and it smells incredible. I was very pleased with my stay, especially having fresh, hot breakfast each morning.
