Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha-Downtown

After a long drive to town for a family emergency, we were exhausted and early for check-in. The desk person was helpful and got us into a room so we could rest. Everyone we dealt with was polite and kind. The hotel is close to the Old Market, the stadium across the street, and lots of other parts of town. I'd definitely stay here again.

Paid parking is a downside for me, but the rooms were clean and had a nice extra blanket. They provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, and everything was clean all around. Front desk service was good, and there was a good choice at breakfast.

I called the front desk about the lukewarm shower. The attendant offered to move me, but said the water is never hot and admitted he'd stayed here and knew it was lukewarm. They know about the problem and don't seem to plan to fix it. Disappointing.

My husband is at UNMC, and they never give you the discounted price. The showers are cold, too. I paid $4 for someone to take a warm bottle of water out of a plastic case on the floor. The night desk guy keeps telling me there are no rooms, even when lots show up online. It's confusing.
