The staff were phenomenal. Tabitha was friendly and so helpful at breakfast, and Chayannie warmly greeted people as they came and went. Housekeeping kept everything clean and smelling wonderful. I gave the rooms three stars only because the shower never got hot and the water pressure was terrible.

The included breakfast was good for a free hotel breakfast, and the beds and bedding were fantastic. The pillows might be the best ever. Our room smelled like a dog, and the floor looked like hard vinyl but was actually carpet. Parking is through an app, and I stayed four nights but was charged 5 x $15/day=$75. I arrived at 3pm 4/10 and left at 5am 4/14, so I’m not sure how that amount was calculated. They do have a backup lot for when the main one fills up at night.

We explored downtown, the Old Market area, the Hot Shops art studios, and Joslyn Art Museum, and sincerely enjoyed our stay. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. It was my wife’s birthday weekend, and they left her a lovely note and cookies. General and Assistant Managers Lisa and Chayannie were gracious hosts. We highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean and put together well, apart from the worn beds and their height. We booked a two-queen suite with a pullout couch, but it felt cramped: a foot between one bed and the wall, six inches between a queen and the couch, and no room between the couch, air conditioner, and wall. The space between the queen beds was fine. The beds were worn on the sides facing each other. Sitting there, the mattress sank to the box spring, while the outside edges felt normal. The pool is very small and there’s no hot tub. The Old Market was about a seven-minute drive away, not close enough to walk. Parking costs $15 for each 24 hours, paid to the city on your phone. We could hear the neighbors’ TV until about 11:30 at night, so the walls aren’t very soundproof.
