The Creighton room was the best part of my two-night solo trip to Omaha, especially its huge bathroom and beautiful claw-foot tub. Offutt Manor is charming and a little spooky, and I enjoyed wandering through the main-floor rooms. It's centrally located, and I'd stay again. I did find moldy leftovers in the fridge, though, and the floors and rugs needed a good vacuum.

The Magnolia sunroom was a lovely spot for my wife and me to read and unwind, and we had fun with the pool table. Be sure to look around the main hall once you're inside, the grand staircase is beautiful. We also enjoyed the displays about the Manor and the Offutt family. Check-in was easy, parking was simple, and the place is close to great dining and nightlife. We'd bring friends next time. A much more interesting stay than a boring hotel.

We came from KC for a weekend at the Omaha zoo and booked the carriage house because the Manor rooms were full. I wasn't sure about staying in a separate building, but it turned out to be an amazing experience. It's cozy, spacious, and kept in great shape, and guests can still go inside the Manor and see the history displays. Thanks for preserving the place. I hope to return and stay in the penthouse next time. I couldn't find a photo of the carriage house exterior on the website, so I hope mine helps anyone curious about it.

The area was a highlight: lovely neighborhoods for walking, good restaurants nearby, and downtown, the zoo, and other major attractions were an easy ten-minute drive. It was nice meeting other guests, too. The kitchen had basic cookware, the pool table was huge, and there were games and interesting reading material. But the Creighton room was extremely warm day and night, and a strong cleaner smell on the floors never faded. With small kids, we couldn't relax because sound carries so easily and we worried about disturbing other guests. I wouldn't recommend it for young children.

The history of the house, its family, and the Gold Coast Historic District made the stay especially memorable. Even little touches were considered, like providing plenty of coasters to protect the vintage furniture. We loved our time at The Offutt Manor and can't stop telling people about it. It's exactly the kind of distinctive place we look for when traveling, and we'd love to return.
