Best Ontario Inn

I walked in and turned right back around for a refund. There was graffiti all over, the microwave was filthy, and the paint was peeling. Even the fire extinguisher was covered in the bathroom. Don't be fooled by the advertised pictures. This place was just filthy. I wouldn't have given it a star, but the review required one. I wish I could post the pictures.

It looked all right from outside, but the room smelled like urine and the walls were dirty. We only stayed four hours before leaving. In the morning there was no water for a shower, and the toilet was clogged. It was too late at night to switch rooms when we first arrived. Don't stay here.

They were unusually strict about my family visiting. I've stayed in nicer places where nobody minded if my cousin stayed late or overnight while we were drinking, but here they treated me like I was trying to move extra people in. At least the staff were decent and not openly rude. The room was okay, and I slept well on a decent mattress. The place is dated and well used. I think it may be in this condition because of limited financial support and because it has become a motel for weekly residents. It's doable, but I wouldn't pick it for my next family visit.

People in the rooms on both sides of us kept us awake most nights. It sounded like they were moving furniture in the middle of the night. A few people also asked my partner and me if we did drugs. The owner is very nice and gives respect when he gets it.
