The entryway was filthy, and the room wasn't better. There was blood on the blanket cover, and the shower handle wasn't clean. The ceiling alarm was completely covered with tape. The TV was difficult to turn off, which they warned us about at check-in, and the alarm went off twice after midnight. Nasty.

The hotel is being remodeled and looked great. The front desk staff were helpful and nice in the morning, our room was updated and quiet, the beds were comfy, and breakfast was great. The problem was the pool. We were told after checking in that it was broken, so we had to walk next door to another hotel to swim. That hotel's working-pool rate was cheaper, while this place still charged a high price. Neither the app nor the website said the pool was closed, and they should disclose that. I'd recommend staying if you don't need the pool and are okay with the price. If you want to swim and relax for a reasonable rate, I wouldn't.

Being so close to Niagra Falls was insanely cool. It was the nicest Marriott we've stayed at, our room was immaculate, and the bar was friendly. The good was good.

My room had a TV that didn't work and a shower door that wouldn't stay shut. When we checked out the next day, the same receptionist was dismissive and rushed us out of the lobby. This overnight business trip was a nightmare. I watched her check in the person before me, who was of a different ethnicity, in a professional, pleasant voice. With me, she repeatedly asked why I was in the area and what my company was called, even after I said it was for business. I'll tell my colleagues not to stay here when traveling.
