Extended Studio Hotel Ontario

The hotel was clean and most of the staff were friendly. I was staying there from Nov 15 to Dec 15 while working 7 days a week, 12-14 hours a day during the holiday season. I got back at 1240pm after checkout time at 11am and was charged for another day. Management needs to go play in traffic.

The morning receptionist, who had a lip piercing, was also rude when we checked out. That came after a bad arrival: nobody greeted us, and the first room we were given was occupied, with someone else's luggage still inside. When we reported it, the woman at the desk treated us like we were at fault. She tossed the replacement key onto the desk and sat down without saying anything. The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional throughout. We won't be back.

The room itself was really nice once we got inside, though the aesthetics weren't much to look at. Finding the place was hard because the hotel signage is missing, and that needs fixing right away. The back parking area by an open field felt a little intimidating. With the strict no-smoking policy, smokers were all out there, but there should still be a designated spot so people checking in can feel safe. I hate smoke.

The room setup made basic things difficult. The microwave and kitchen sink were low, and I kept bumping my head on the range hood over the electric cooktop. I'm 6'6ft, so the handicap room Melissa at the desk said I booked through Expedia made no sense to me. My Itinerary CLEARLY states One King Bedroom. We even offered to upgrade to avoid that room, but every request got a no. I felt racially profiled, and the customer service was bad. There was no greeting when I arrived, then almost a full minute of silence while I stood at the check-in desk. Melissa lied about what I booked. I don't recommend this place to AA, and this individual needs to be retrained.
