Days Inn by Wyndham Ontario Airport

The room was dirty, and there was profane graffiti on the tarnished headboard. The AC blew air that smelled like urine, while people stomped around upstairs all night. The bed wasn't comfortable, and the front desk attendant was unfriendly. The pictures gave a false idea of what to expect. Definitely not worth what I paid.

The room felt like a place rented by the hour, and the photos don't show what this hotel is really like. The pool was empty, the walls were stained, the bathroom had glue and missing pieces, and the scratched floor was so dirty I couldn't take my socks off. The heater didn't work either. The blankets were dirty, and the hotel phone had missing buttons and only a dial tone. I tried calling the front desk five times, but the calls kept disconnecting. I called Wyndham to ask if they could get through, and they tried four times with no answer. I was trying to call first because a group of men were on the way to the lobby, but I had to walk over there for a new blanket. The front desk guy was watching his iPad instead of answering the phone. I left as soon as I woke up and would never come back. The hotel's in a bad spot.

The maintenance people work hard to keep the stairs and floors clean, and you can tell there's a little community here trying to look after the property. The office lady was kind and accommodating too, moving me from a dingy smoking room to a nicer one on the third floor. The room was still dirty, but I clean hotel rooms to my liking anyway and bring my own bed linen, so after that I felt comfortable. It's a bit of a dive and the neighborhood may not suit someone who isn't used to rougher areas. I would stay again for the price and how accommodating they were. Not a terrible stay. Just don't choose a smoking room unless you actually want to smoke.

Bugs were crawling around inside, the bedding had cigarette burns, and the counters and tables were sticky. The whole place was disgusting, with a strong smell I couldn't identify.
