Economy Inn Motel

The staff are amazing, genuinely helpful, and super friendly. I'm extremely satisfied, and I know where to go next time I need a room.

I've been staying at the Economy Inn for work for over 15 years, and it's always clean and comfortable. They've remodeled and added lots of new furniture to many rooms, including a fridge, microwave, desk, and new mattress. Krishna is very nice and easy to work with.

The building is badly run down, and the rooms aren't clean or equipped with working appliances. They seem not to clean the rooms, or perhaps don't even have cleaning staff. They won't provide toilet paper or follow through on what they say they'll do. They dislike your guests and will call the police on them. I get the distinct feeling it's a drug hotel for bad people. It is primarily where the ODOC (Oregon Department of Corrections) houses people leaving prison. I'd rate it lower if I could. Find somewhere else to stay tonight. You don't want the headache.

The room smelled, the bathroom had cracks, and there was visible patched-up water damage on the ceiling. The walls were filthy, the carpet had huge visible stains and even sticky spots, and the old curtains were falling off the rod and smelled too. I didn't trust that the pillowcases had been changed, so we brought our own pillows. My family and I were traveling from Washington to Utah when our car started overheating, and this was the only place with a room under $300. Even so, the price was too high. I made everyone sleep on top of the bedspreads. If I hadn't been worried about being stranded with kids in 104-degree weather, I would've run from the place. I slept just two hours from exhaustion. The only positive was the kind woman who checked us in.
