Comfort Inn & Suites near Ontario Airport

The one staff member who showed real kindness was a helpful cleaning lady. The rest of our stay was deeply disappointing. My five-year-old son got sick, so we needed to change the bedding. Staff wouldn’t give us another blanket or comforter, only sheets. They also charged an extra $100 without telling us, and still didn’t provide more bedding. The front desk staff were rude and dismissive whenever we asked for help, and the manager was especially rude and, in my view, dishonest. The beds and mattresses were very dated, and the pillows flat and uncomfortable. A family with a sick child shouldn’t be denied basic bedding or treated as if comfort doesn’t matter. This was far below what I expect from a Comfort Inn property. I’ll be filing a formal complaint. There are plenty of hotels nearby, and I’d strongly suggest staying elsewhere. I can’t understand how people keep their jobs when they treat guests like this.

After booking multiple rooms here for our business over the years, I was surprised by how little understanding the hotel showed. An airline cancelled my employee’s flight yesterday evening, and I called right away to let them know he couldn’t make the reservation. The manager said they wouldn’t make any exception to the cancellation policy. I asked if they could offer credit for a future stay instead, but they said no. The hotel also had several rooms available, so it wasn’t full. I’m disappointed and will book somewhere else next time.

Uhnt uhn, nope, I wasn’t satisfied 😑. The room felt run down and gross, like a Motel 6 that hadn’t been upgraded. For more than $120 a night, it didn’t feel worth it unless you’re paying for the area. The elevator seemed creepy, and the hallway carpet was nasty. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay open, so I had to prop it with a trash bag and towel. The kitchenette sink drained slowly, the couch looked suspicious, and the toilet seat looked and felt like a dog had clawed it. I left two drinks and some fruit in the fridge overnight, but they were still at the same temperature in the morning, so I threw out the fruit. Then, as I was leaving my room, a guest came by with two huge dogs that got uncomfortably close. My bad for not realizing it was a pet hotel.

The property is dated, but it was clean and comfortable for our one-night stay. Toyota Arena is nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants within a ten-minute walk. We’d stay here again.
